About Andi Cornelison
Andi moved to the Columbia area in 1990, when she joined the morning show team on WCOS radio. While at WCOS, she won two Associated Press awards for radio journalism, as well as the County Music Association’s 1997 Medium Market Broadcast Personality of the Year. At USC law school, she was the Editor-in-Chief of the ABA Real Property Probate and Trust Journal and won several awards for legal writing and best performance in class. She practiced corporate litigation at an Am Law 100 law firm in Columbia from 2000 to 2017. While at that firm, she won the firm’s award for pro bono service, chaired 2 committees for the S.C. Bar Young Lawyers Division, served on the Trustus Theatre Board of Directors, and graduated from Leadership Columbia. She developed an interest in family law after experiencing her own divorce, and she has been facilitating the DivorceCare program for the past few years at Chapin United Methodist Church. Andi also serves as secretary in her Homeowners Association, and in several other capacities at CUMC with her two children. Most of all, Andi sees her practice as an opportunity to serve hurting families and help them navigate the legal process with integrity and genuine care.
